Six spatial typologies: centric, courtyard, cloister, circulation spine, linear, and serial progression, were explored in the design for six small dwellings (40m2) intended for domestic habitation which consists of spaces for living, eating, cooking, washing, and sleeping. They are connected conceptually with the idea of time passing according to the typology and human needs as the day progresses. The arrangement and proportion of openings and wall thicknesses control light as the direction of the sunlight changes throughout the day; framing daily human rituals.
