Landscapes evolve over layers of interventions over time. These geological processes, often dominated by human activity (eg. pollution, deforestation), often lack order which results in random uncontrolled outcomes within landscapes.
Inspired by this, Eresin You Away is the result of layers of experimental chemical reactions between materials whose qualities are formed through the process of ‘addition and subtraction’. The material capabilities of resin, foam, and acetone were explored to produce unpredictable outcomes that challenge the perception of these original objects.
Watch the behind the scenes video to see more of the process.
